AS A FANTASY ILLUSTRATOR, FOCUSING ON CRAFTING NARRATIVE-DRIVEN ILLUSTRATIONS FOR THE PUBLISHING AND ENTERTAINMENT MARKET.

 

In my illustrations, I hybridize my favorite things in nature, such as various animals and people, into beautifully bizarre characters in my invented mythology. For example, in my work, a man turns into a gigantic being with horns, a woman has elegant wings to fly with, and a boy has a chilling glow. These elements are not flaws but rather enhancements that enrich these individuals.

 

I create my illustrations using a realist

approach inspired by the old masters to convey the three-dimensional world of my creation with a modern flare by using digital painting techniques in my work.

I leave behind subtle brush strokes in my pieces instead of blending them away like polished glass. I paint this way to express a chaotic energy that signifies that perfectionism is overrated and people should embrace their natural beauty.

 

In the illustrations, I use dynamic compositions, organic shapes, softer lines, and consonant color schemes to convey that these hybridizations are magical beings. My illustrations have an intense mood and darker themes to create impactful discord around sensitive topics. These subjects signify the positive power of diversity—that no one on the planet is the same as anyone else. My work honors awareness of the wonders of the non-generic.
